The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), a six-time National Recreation and Parks Association Gold Medal Award Winner, is currently seeking an experienced, motivated Senior Policy Analyst to join its Policy and Archives Office within the Corporate Policy and Management Operations Division within the M-NCPPC Department of Human Resources and Management. This position will be responsible for conducting business process analysis, best practices research, and policy writing to help the office in its mission to promote effective organizational operations, fair employment standards, and public accountability.
The ideal candidate will possess the following technical competencies/skills:1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Public Policy, History, Political Science, Psychology or any related field.
2. Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience that includes substantive work in the range of duties and responsibilities in this class specification.
3. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted, which together total 8 years.
Classification Specification: Corporate Management Analyst III (1145)
Please note: The salary range above represents this position's earning potential. The budgeted hiring range for this position will be $75,336.00 to $120,746.00, based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
This position will require travel to local facilities for meetings and presentations as needed. Late evenings/weekend work may be needed to meet deadlines. Sound judgment in determining when extra efforts are needed is essential to success in this role.
