Role Summary
Provides senior-level business architecture analysis, policy development, and programmatic support for a national crime-data reporting program. Evaluates current and future initiatives, integrates policy and technical requirements, and supports strategic planning and governance activities.
Key Duties
- Analyze program business architecture, identify modernization opportunities, and recommend process improvements.
- Develop evaluation criteria, assess alternative solutions, and draft policy recommendations.
- Review laws, regulations, directives, charters, and organizational documents to guide decision-making.
- Support integration efforts for national incident-based reporting, use-of-force data collection, and federal crime-statistics initiatives.
- Develop communications and outreach strategies for stakeholders.
- Prepare strategic planning documentation, including federally required forms such as OMB submissions.
- Evaluate the program's use of scaled agile methodologies and recommend improvements.
- Support leadership advisory boards, governance groups, and long-term strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Top Secret
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Criminal Justice, Business, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate policy and technical considerations.
- Strong analytical writing, briefing, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with national statistical programs or criminal-justice data systems.
- Knowledge of OMB Statistical Policy Directive requirements.
- SAFe Agile or PMP certification.
