RSC2 is currently looking for a Public Affairs Officer to join our growing team in Aberdeen, MD!
Independently provides support as the Public Affairs Officer to PD SAI. Manages staffing and tracks internal and external suspense’s and correspondence with designated functional areas of the organization. Functional responsibility for drafting Strategic Communications (STRATCOM), awards, town hall messaging, press releases, and key talking points for senior leadership. Possesses knowledge of organizational planning, risk management, and program analysis with the ability to turn programmatic wins into STRATCOM. Defines and document STRATCOM and public relations processes into standard operating procedures or other written procedures. Assures integrated and coordinated short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning on projects and tasks. Initiates, develops, revises, recommends, and implements STRATCOM policies, plans, procedures, and directives. Collaborates internally and externally and provides advice and support to the organization leadership, staff, and program managers on any assigned programs/projects for stakeholder engagements, briefings, reports, etc.

Salary at RSC2 is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $148,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical total compensation range for this position.
