The Directorate for Global Relations and Co-operation (GRC) co-ordinates the Organisation’s relations with partner countries and with other international organisations. It advises the Office of the Secretary-General and other OECD Directorates on how to strengthen co-operation with partner countries, regions and organisations. GRC also serves the OECD External Relations Committee (ERC), working with members to help them reach consensus on global relations priorities and ensuring that relevant partners are effectively engaged in the Organisation’s work in delivering on the Organisation’s Global Relations Strategy and the Secretary-General’s strategic orientations.
GRC is looking for one or more Policy Analysts with knowledge and experience in the Latin America and the Caribbean region. The selected persons will perform a range of tasks requiring qualifications in project management and on policy analysis. S/he will support of the delivery of the OECD LAC Regional Programme, Country Programmes and Bilateral Cooperation Programmes in the region. Relevant policy priorities include productivity (including SMEs), social inclusion, governance, environmental sustainability, connectivity, regional integration, policy harmonisation and critical minerals. Duties also involve preparing internal documents, conducting research and analysis, liaising internally and externally, and organising events. Positions are based at OECD Mexico City under the supervision of the Head of the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Division in GRC and/or the Head of the OECD Centre for Latin America and the Caribbean in Mexico City.

Languages
Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.
Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portugues would be an advantage.

Selection Process
For retained candidates, the selection process may include a video-recorded interview, A job-based assessment, including a written exercise, and panel interviews.
