TYPICAL DUTIES: (Illustrative Only) Receives, stocks, inventories and distributes election supplies; assembles ballot box supply packages; performs election equipment testing; makes minor mechanical and electrical repairs on election equipment; assists with preparing training materials for poll workers; ensures that all election locations are compliant with state and federal guidelines; assists in post-election inventories; may deliver or pick-up election supplies at polling locations; operates various office and election equipment; prepares and maintains records and reports and performs specific functional duties relative to the election process.
High School diploma or equivalent, two years of experience supporting elections or serving in an administrative support role. An equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities of this classification. Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license and the ability to be covered by county insurance.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be an eligible voter in Cochise County at the time of hire and remain registered during employment. Election certification required within 12 months of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to individuals with experience working with Election Equipment.
