We’re looking for a passionate Senior Manager for PACS (Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability) to join our diverse and dynamic team specially focused in supporting the operations of CPS (Commercial Product Supply) in Mexico. What You'll Do for Us:
Lead and execute the communication strategy and public affairs for CPS Mexico. Protect the reputation of The Coca-Cola Company’s CPS Plant and the brands in Mexico with a focus on national media, local government and non-governmental organizations, pressure groups and employees.
Serve as leader of public affairs, facilitating dialogue with internal and external stakeholders, and managing the development and execution of engagement and sustainability communications programs.
Advise PACS team on potential high impact issues management strategy, recommending successful approach to mitigate the impact/damage of any potential reputation erosion by pressure groups and/or media against the business.
Maintain incident preparedness via regular Incident Management Crisis Resolution training and desktop simulations.
Maintain high levels of professional relationships with senior representatives of agenda setting national/local media and government within Mexico.
Ensure the bottlers communications function is supplied with the latest communications plans, media statements and Q&As to achieve consistent and uninterrupted message delivery across any surfacing issues.
Engage with key stakeholders in the government, chambers and associations, and relevant organizations, at the federal and local levels to agile administrative procedures and processes.
Engage with communities fostering strong engagement with local representatives and institutions by building trust, facilitating open communication, and promoting collaborative initiatives.
Develop presentations, letters and speeches for the leadership team operating in Mexico, ensuring key business messages and business success/best practice stories are delivered timely. Manage the implementation of internal communications plans.
Maintain positive share of voice and media sentiment to continuously shape and manage the business reputational and positive impact scores
Qualification & Requirements:
University degree, preferably in Communications, International Relations or Law.
5 years of corporate communications experience and/or Public Affairs.
Additional media/journalism background would be advantageous.
Candidates must have proven experience in all the fields of government affairs/government relations, key stakeholder engagement (NGOs, opinion leaders, business associations, multilateral entities, etc.)
Professional writing & communications skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interact with senior Associates within the business with clarity and confidence.
Work Focus
Support the integrated approach to the development and implementation of external communications plans that advance awareness of the company’s business strategy and impact.
Working knowledge of the national media scene as well as a sound understanding of business economics.
Communications Knowledge: Highly organized and detail oriented. Strong writing and presentation skills. Knowledge of procedures and information for public relations and communications strategy development, planning and execution.
Government Relations: Knowledge of how government is structured and understanding of how public policy decisions are made and implemented. Includes ability to communicate effectively with politicians.
Relationships with Community Leadership: Knowledge of community key decision makers and opinion leaders, whose stand on issues impact the business environment for the Company.

The role is focused on external/internal and brand communications.

The role includes working with external and internal parties who have differing or opposing interests.
