Overview

 

Scope of Position: Deliver a seamless hiring experience for all WinShape Camps seasonal staff. Manage aspects of the application process and the full process that oversees the interview, and selection process for our applicant pool, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and provide highquality support to applicants and seasonal staff.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for seasonal staff and applicants throughout the year by providing timely, thoughtful communication via phone, email, and the staff support inbox
  • Develop the annual hiring and selection strategy in collaboration with the larger Staff Development Team.
  • Facilitate the execution of the application, interview and selection process for all WinShape Camps seasonal summer staff: 
    • Oversee and maintain the seasonal staff application system (WIN), ensuring all updates, content, and workflows reflect current organizational needs.
    • Collaborate with camp teams and the Talent Experience teams to clearly communicate hiring requirements and maintain compliance.
    • Design and continuously refine a smooth, userfriendly interview and hiring experience.
    • Oversee the interview process by preparing, scheduling, motivating, and guiding a team of nearly 60 interviewers, ensuring they are fully trained and equipped to conduct interviews via the application platform.
    • Troubleshoot system errors and respond to applicant questions and full-time staff questions throughout the process, serving as a resource in ensuring consistency in the application evaluation process.
    • Review applicant eligibility and partner with hiring managers to execute hiring decisions efficiently and consistently.
  • Facilitate the complete Form I‑9 process for all seasonal staff by tracking unique employment authorization documentation, leading pre‑event communication, ensuring smooth onsite verification procedures, and performing ongoing audits to meet compliance standards.
  • Support Program and Recruitment teams with key initiatives such as seasonal recruitment efforts, Formers Events, Leadership Weekend, and Staff Training with excellence.
  • Serve as a member of a dedicated recruiting team and travel on specified weeks for the purpose of recruiting high caliber seasonal staff
  • Serve yearround on the Interview & Hiring Alignment Team as the primary facilitator.
  • Support additional department projects as assigned.
  • Uphold and support Foundation Policies and compliance standards.
  • Required to be present at our WinShape Camps offices in Atlanta, GA for a minimum of 10 days per month.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred: experience serving on WinShape Camps summer staff or another camp team. (not required).
  • Preferred experience in Onboarding, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ProPresenter, Microsoft Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to maintain regular office hours at the WinShape Camps office in Atlanta.
  • Willingness to engage in travel (25%) throughout the year.
  • Must hold or obtain a valid driver’s license for the state in which they are hired and have an acceptable driving record.
  • A self-professing Christ-follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis.
