About the Role

The Associate Recruiting Manager – Global Assessment & Selection Services is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team. This role will be responsible for recruiting and hiring top talent for all associatelevel positions at Latham & Watkins, while leading the global strategy for associate assessment and selection, including the design, evaluation, and ongoing evolution of assessment frameworks and methodologies across both entrylevel and lateral hiring. This role will be located in either our New York or Washington D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the use and governance of associate assessment data, and ensuring assessment tools and models remain consistent, predictive, and defensible across regions and hiring pathways
  • Advising Associate Recruiting leadership and key stakeholders on evaluation practices, interviewer calibration, and selection decisionmaking to support highquality and wellsupported hiring outcomes
  • Partnering closely with internal teams on largescale recruiting data initiatives, contributing assessment and selection expertise while leveraging crossfunctional analytical capabilities to inform and enhance hiring practices
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of global assessment and selection practices by incorporating feedback, outcomes, and evolving firm priorities to strengthen the effectiveness of associate hiring
  • Promoting effective work practices by working collaboratively as a team member and demonstrating respect for others
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess extensive experience in recruitment operations with a proven track record, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of recruitment practices and regulations across all jurisdictions in which Latham & Watkins LLP operates
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency with recruitment technologies and assessment platforms, with the ability to interpret and apply assessment data to inform hiring practices

And have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related field, preferably

Pay Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
