Description Manage Policy and Procedures Program for Division - Ensure electronic delivery and maintenance of Division’s statewide policies, procedures, guidelines and technical directives. Manage research, development and implementation of content and delivery of the Road Design Manual, Instructional and Information manuals and forms related to the Road and Bridge Standards and Specifications. Manage staff supporting delivery of the Division’s Drainage Manual and Traffic Design Manual, Public Involvement Manual and the APO and PMO Offices' policies and procedures. Supervise staff conducting complex analysis and providing support to assigned operational program area.
How you will contribute:
Policies and Procedures: Develop policies and procedures for application on a wide range of transportation projects. Provide expert technical guidance and problem resolution on matters of policies and procedures related to plan preparation and development. Provide interpretation and application of a wide range of policy and procedure subject areas.
Research, Committees and Technical Assistance: Conduct research and provide technical assistance to customers on a wide variety of roadway design related areas. Serve as a member of related committees.

Additional Considerations:
A combination of training, experience, or education in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field desired.
Experience developing policies, procedures, guidelines and technical directives related to roadway design and construction.
Experience in roadway design and construction methods.
Experience supervising professional staff.
Valid Professional Engineer's license desired.
